Consignments from third countries (or parts of third countries) of food and feed of non-animal origin listed in the Annexes to Regulation (EU) 2019/1793 as amended are subject to temporary increased official controls at border inspection posts upon entry into the European Union and at the control posts.

With Regulation (EU) 2024/286, Regulation (EU) 2019/1793 was revised and the annexes were adapted, these changes apply from 6.2.2024.
