After an evaluation of the European Commission regarding the roll-out of the eSeal for certificate of inspection (COI), the transition period was extended from originally 30.6.2022 to 31.10.2022. The new date for the mandatory signing of the certificates of inspection by means of eSeal by the inspection body/inspection authority in the respective third country is now set for 1.11.2022.
